MEET TERRI

Designer. Maker. Detail Connoisseur.

I’m Terri Hanson, designer and founder of ElizaGrace Paperie in Elk River, Minnesota. For nearly two decades, I’ve made a career of bringing ideas together—balancing beauty with personality, finding harmony in unlikely combinations, and creating work that feels deeply considered.

Before ElizaGrace Paperie, I designed furniture showrooms. My job wasn’t to impose my own taste, but to understand what was in front of me and compose a setting that made it compelling.

I learned that the most interesting spaces reflect the people who inhabit them: their tastes, history, and way of living. When I found my way to wedding stationery, that instinct came with me.

Every ElizaGrace suite shares a point of view, but not a single aesthetic. My work is consistently refined, artful, and grounded in a sense of timelessness, but I always tap into the personality of your specific wedding.

One suite may feel romantic and old-world; another tailored and architectural; another organic and quietly understated. I take what you bring to the table, look for connections you may not have seen, introduce ideas of my own, and use my experience and intuition to shape it all into something more fully realized.

The best projects are a true collaboration: you don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what you want. We’ll work together to create something completely personal and unique to you.

I take on a limited number of weddings each year for the most attentive experience for my couples.

That’s part of being a lifelong creative: I’m always noticing. At proportion and composition. At what belongs together and what becomes more interesting with a little contrast and tension. At the small choice that changes the feeling of the whole.

I want you to feel involved in creating your stationery without ever feeling responsible for figuring it all out.

That means I’ll share my opinions with you. I’ll tell you when I think an idea is worth pursuing, when another could be pushed further, and when restraint will make the finished piece stronger. I’ll ask questions, make connections, narrow the possibilities, and give you my recommended path forward when there may be many options.

There is a surprising amount of thought behind making something feel effortless, and I have a passion for holding both sides of the process at once: the creative possibilities and the practical realities. Creating something as precious as your wedding invitations is a responsibility I don’t take lightly, and I want you to feel understood, supported, and genuinely excited throughout the process.
